County attorney office positions and payroll: The board approved creation of two new positions — Legal Intern 1 and Legal Intern 2 — in the county attorney’s office, adopted a job description/classification for Legal Intern 2 (pay grade 45, steps 1–5), and authorized a revised payroll notice to place Kale (Veil) Johnson into Legal Intern 2 with a retroactive wage of $25.68 effective June 16, 2025.
