Commissioners approve annexation of one tax lot at NW Roanoke Lane into Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District

Washington County commissioners on July 15 adopted a resolution approving Service District Annexation 25‑004 (LRP/BC), annexing one tax lot at 5370 Northwest Roanoke Lane into the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District (THPRD).
Carol Johnson and Teresa Cherniak presented the staff report. Cherniak said the subject property—about three‑quarters of an acre and located inside the urban growth boundary—was the owner’s request (Scott Rasmussen) and was initiated by a consent petition. Staff found the request met the boundary‑change criteria in the staff report and recommended approval with an effective date of July 15.
No members of the public signed up to testify during the public hearing. The board moved, seconded and approved the resolution unanimously, 4–0.
Staff was authorized to sign the order and route the annexation documents as required. The annexation brings the property into THPRD service for park and recreation purposes as of the effective date listed in the adopted resolution.
