The Washington County Coordinating Committee on July 14 approved the June 9 meeting summary and authorized a Transportation Development Tax (TDT) expenditure request from the City of Tualatin.
The committee unanimously approved the June 9 meeting summary by voice vote after Mayor O'Neil moved to approve and Mayor Pace seconded the motion. No roll-call tally was recorded in the meeting minutes; the committee recorded the outcome as passed.
On a separate item, the committee approved a TDT expenditure request from the City of Tualatin to spend $2,000,000 in TDT funds for the “Tualatin–Sherwood Boones Ferry inspection improvement” to support an alternatives analysis and preliminary design. Commissioner Faye moved the TDT motion, with Mayor Lube seconding. The committee approved the request by voice vote; no individual roll-call votes were recorded in the transcript.
Meeting staff noted a typographical error on the agenda that initially listed Washington County and the City of Tualatin as co-requesters; staff clarified the request was from the City of Tualatin only.
The committee moved on to its scheduled information presentations after the votes.
