Lakeville’s Planning Board on July 10 asked planning staff to contact the developer of the Bella’s Way subdivision for a status update on outstanding work and to refer the matter to town counsel.
Board members said the developer had previously indicated remaining work would be completed in the spring but that staff has received repeated emails without recent progress. The planning director said the town still holds $11,000 in funds related to Bella’s Way and asked whether those funds could be used to complete remaining items if the developer does not proceed.
The board voted to send a memo asking the developer for a schedule and status update and to ask town counsel for advice about the town’s options to resolve outstanding obligations, including whether the held funds could be applied to complete the remaining work.
Action: motion carried to send a status-request memo to the developer, and to continue Bella’s Way as an agenda item at the next meeting; staff will coordinate a town‑counsel review prior to that meeting.
