At the start of the July meeting the City of Columbia Planning Commission approved its consent agenda, which the chair described as covering routine matters such as minutes, annexations and plats.
The consent agenda included approval of the June 12, 2025 meeting minutes and several case items listed in the staff packet: Annexation Case ANNEX-2025-0013229 (Charlestown Court) requesting assignment of Urban Edge Residential Large Lot (UER2) land‑use and RSF‑2 zoning for an annexation; ANNEX-2025-0014302 (Turnwall Lane) requesting UER‑1 land‑use and PD zoning; ZMA‑2025‑0012 (Wildwood Avenue properties) requesting rezoning to RSF‑3 with historic preservation overlay; ZMA‑2025‑0013 (1013 Duke Avenue) requesting rezoning to RM1 with historic overlay; and a preliminary plat S Plat 2024‑89 (Riverbend at Broad) for about 106.79 acres and a proposed 208‑lot single‑family subdivision (zoned RSF‑3). Staff noted a traffic impact study was included for the subdivision.
No members of the public or commissioners asked to remove items from the consent agenda for separate discussion. A commissioner moved to approve the June 12 minutes and the consent agenda; a second was given and the chair called the voice vote. The motion passed by voice vote; the transcript does not contain a roll‑call tally.
The commission’s approval forwarded these items for record and any subsequent administrative or permitting steps; staff will address any conditions listed in the case summaries for individual items.
