A commissioner moved to close the matter without prejudice to free docket space while allowing staff to continue oversight through permitting; the motion passed unanimously. Staff said the owner will need to obtain any required permits before reconstruction begins and that the case can be re‑noticed if monitoring shows inadequate progress.
The commission noted the owner has been in contact with staff from out of state and that the city will continue to track progress through permits and outreach.
