Commissioners approve $3.01 million Meeker airport ramp contract and construction oversight work order

County staff said the award was the lowest responsive and responsible bid; three bids were received and the proposer Elevating Excavating included United (paving subcontractor) in its pricing. The contract covers Schedule 1 (FAA‑eligible) and Schedule 2 (non‑FAA) work.
Commissioners also approved work order No. 4 with Raver LLC to provide construction‑phase professional services for the GA ramp reconstruction under the county's master professional services agreement. Staff said the design phase had been completed and the work order covers engineering oversight during construction; both phases were independently third‑party reviewed and found to be within FAA fee limits (within 5%).
Both motions were moved, seconded and passed on roll call.
