At its July 9 meeting the Fire Commission recorded three formal actions on the public agenda.
• Approval of minutes (Item 3): The commission voted to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on June 25, 2025. Commissioner Alan Lowe was absent for the vote and the minutes record an abstention; the motion passed.
• Vote to hold closed session (Item 7/8): The commission voted to conduct Item 8 (conference with legal counsel on existing litigation) in closed session under California Government Code section 54956.9(a)(3) and San Francisco Administrative Code section 67.1(d); the motion passed.
• Vote not to disclose (Item 10): After reconvening, the commission voted not to disclose any or all discussions held in closed session, pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code section 67.12(a); the motion passed.
The commission reported in open session that there was no reportable action from the closed session.
