Bluff Council unanimously extends intern Josie Lott’s contract by one week

The Bluff Town Council on July 8 voted unanimously to extend intern Josie Lott’s internship by one week, through July 18.
Town Manager Aaron Nelson said Lott’s work had been “phenomenal,” and noted she had consistently worked slightly under the 30-hour weekly limit approved by the council. “In addition to being very productive, it would be very helpful to have her for one additional week,” Nelson said.
Councilors spoke in favor of the short extension, describing Lott as a strong match for the town’s needs and noting she had remaining projects that would benefit from the added time. A council member moved to extend the contract “as presented”; another councilor seconded the motion. The council voted, and the motion passed unanimously.
The extension covers one additional week only; no other contract terms were changed during the July 8 meeting.
