At the start of its July 7 meeting the Janesville Plan Commission approved several items on the consent agenda and set dates for subsequent council or public hearings.
Items moved on consent included approvals of final plats, certified survey maps and easement releases. The certified survey maps described in the staff report are: CSM 25006‑C (Mulligan, two lots along Kettering Street), CSM 25011‑T (Alpheus Holdings LLC, two lots along West US Highway 14 in the Town of Janesville), CSM 25013‑C (Woodman's Food Market, two lots and one outlot along Milton Avenue), and CSM 25015‑C (David and Jane Mullen, one lot along South River Road in the Town of Brock). Staff noted these items move on consent unless otherwise objected to; commissioners raised no objections.
Staff also announced scheduling: an amendment to the project plan for Tax Incremental District (TID) No. 37 will proceed to a City Council public hearing on July 21, 2025. Two conditional‑use permit requests will likewise be set for public hearing on July 21: a proposed natural gas regulator station for Alliant Energy at 2909 Kellogg Avenue, and a conditional‑use permit amendment for a building addition at 3100 Wellington Place (Holiday Inn Express/Candlewood Suites).
No substantive public comment was recorded on the consent items at the meeting; the consent items and the hearings were placed on the calendar for the indicated dates.
