Delaware City sister-city board thanks departing members and approves minutes

At its July meeting, the Delaware City Sister City Advisory Board recognized changes in membership, formally thanked a departing member, and approved the meeting motion summary from April 1, 2025.
Chairman Keever announced that Suzanne Williams would be replaced on the board by Todd Perry, described by the chair as an assistant principal at Dempsey. A board member moved to thank Suzanne Williams for her service; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote of members present (motion carried). Chairman Keever said he would meet with Todd Perry before the school year to provide an introduction to the board.
The board also recognized Daryl, who has represented Ohio Wesleyan on the advisory board for several years. Daryl spoke briefly and the board expressed appreciation for his service. Chairman Keever said Lisa Ho will be nominated as the Ohio Wesleyan representative and is slated to begin attending in October; Keever noted that Lisa Ho has prior involvement in international education and community service learning.
The advisory board moved to approve the motion summary from the April 1, 2025 meeting "as recorded and transcribed." The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote of members present. Chairman Keever announced the next advisory board meeting would be the second Tuesday in October (October 14).
After routine closing remarks and thanks to departing members, a motion to adjourn was made, seconded, and carried.
