Marion County council adopts resolution honoring Marvin Stevenson

The presenter also listed service on the South Carolina Department of Transportation board, the parole board, the infrastructure bank board and noted Stevenson was a teacher and a member of civic organizations including Omega Psi Phi and the Masonic fraternity.
Council discussion included brief personal remarks about Stevenson's service. One councilmember said, "He has been a good person and committed to helping our campus, anybody," and members indicated support for issuing the resolution. The council moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote.
