City Parkway 5 board ratifies landscaping covenant assignment, defers Symphony Park covenants to Oct. 27

Kelly Swanson, administrative officer for EUD, told the board staff found no issues with the landscaping agreement and sought approval of the ratification of the assignment with Union Pacific Railroad Company for landscape maintenance on portions of Parkway Center in Ward 5. The board moved and seconded the ratification and the motion carried.
Tracy Reich, redevelopment manager, asked the board to defer the Symphony Park covenants for one meeting to allow staff to complete additional meetings and wrap up outstanding information. The board voted to place the item in abeyance; staff and board members later confirmed the item will return on the Oct. 27 meeting agenda.
The board also approved a motion to adopt the minutes of the April 7, 2025 regular meeting and unanimously approved the consent agenda covering items 7–9.
