The Rankin County Board of Supervisors acknowledged receipt of a pay pack from Integrated Rightaway Services and authorized recording deed instruments and payment to Dr. Cumberland to complete the county's acquisition of Parcel 26 for the Florence Firearm Parkway project.
Mister Slay, representing the county's interests, told the board the pay pack closes the transaction related to Parcel 26 and that an agreement on just compensation had been reached between the county and Dr. Cumberland. The board voted to acknowledge receipt of the pay pack and to authorize recording the deed instruments and issuing payment; staff said the payment check was expected to be cut the same day.
The county described Integrated Rightaway Services as a third-party right-of-way acquisition company. The board did not state the dollar amount of the compensation on the record during the meeting.
