Miami board fails to reach quorum; several land‑use items postponed to July 16 or Sept. 3

A scheduled City of Miami board meeting failed to reach the seven members required for a quorum, and board members postponed consideration of several land‑use agenda items to a later date, board and staff members said.

Board members and staff told members of the public that the meeting could be rescheduled for July 16 if the city can complete legal notice requirements; if not, the next available meeting will be Sept. 3 because the board does not meet in August. A staff member said, “We will do our best to notice as soon as possible and get it to the next available agenda.”
