Commissioners asked for clarification about how much of a cited $23,000 increase for the county’s economic-development portion would be allocated to wages versus other program costs (training, travel, insurance and meeting costs). Staff said a breakdown had not been provided at the meeting; Carrie, who was identified in discussion as the staff contact for economic-development matters, was off-site and could provide a budget sheet later. Because of that missing detail, the commission amended a motion and voted to table the CEOAB recommendations and requested staff return with a detailed budget allocation and list of expected expenditures before final approval.
