The board approved Resolution No. 3101, which delegates purchasing and contracting authority up to $7,500 to elected officials, and sets procurement-department thresholds for purchases between $7,500 and $100,000 to align with state procurement law changes that took effect the same day. The resolution also delegates authority to issue public-works purchase orders up to $50,000 and establishes monitoring of delegated authority, with the board reserving the right to rescind delegations.
