The Tacoma Public Library announced Tacoma Reads 2025 on TV Tacoma’s Tacoma Report, saying programs and book clubs for all ages will culminate in a special event on Thursday, Oct. 16 featuring author Valerie Kaur and a welcome from Mayor Victoria Woodards at a location to be announced.
“All Tacoma Reads titles will be available at the Tacoma Public Library in print, ebook, and audiobook formats,” the program said and directed viewers to tacomalibrary.org/tacomareads for details on participating and checking out titles.
The library will host community programs and book-club discussions for multiple age groups in the months leading up to the Oct. 16 event, the segment said. The mayor’s appearance was described as a welcoming introduction to a conversation and Q&A with Kaur, followed by a book signing.
Ending: The library’s Tacoma Reads web page was listed as the source for schedules and formats for the selected titles.
