The Waukesha Building and Grounds Committee approved a request to install two “Caution: Autistic Child Area” signs at 1531 Magnolia after a referral from Alderman Piper. Staff said one sign can be mounted on a light pole and the other would require a post.
Craig (staff member) told the committee that staff had coordinated the exact location with Alderman Piper and that the signs are a common city design and would either be repurposed from inventory or newly made. “I worked out the location with Alderman Piper already,” Craig said.
The committee moved to approve the installation; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
