Staff said the project will draw on a previously allocated Business Oregon grant of $277,000 (grants distributed equally to fairgrounds under prior legislation) and staff anticipate additional energy incentives for the installation. The Fair Board had already approved improvements above $30,000 per the county MOU; the county’s vote authorized final execution of the contract.
