Clatsop County clerk says state website transposed vote totals; county to publish PDFs and expand local checks

County staff said the discrepancy affected only the unofficial web display; certified paper results remain the official record and one other contest flipped on a last unofficial update before certification, underscoring the county’s point that unofficial online displays can change. The county will coordinate checks with the state to reduce the risk of future mismatches.
