At the June 25 board meeting district leaders reported that contracts with Parkhill and Pulasic have been finalized and that Parkhill had begun soliciting geotechnical and survey teams to advance work on district construction projects.
Superintendent and staff said signed contracts will allow site work to move forward and that Parkhill provided tentative timeframes of January for initial site work at Hutchins and March for the high school building project. District staff said they have engaged the law firm Walsh Gallegos to assist with contract work and negotiations.
The board was given those schedule estimates as preliminary; district staff said they would reconfirm dates as geotechnical, survey and permitting work proceed. No vote was required to report the contract status at the meeting.
