Lesche (as introduced) said the geo‑diverse approach will provide redundancy so calls can be rerouted to another site if a primary call center is disrupted by power, network outage or other event. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the request by unanimous voice vote.
The approval authorizes the county to submit the application and accept the award as offered; Lesch did not identify any local match requirement during the presentation.
