The council approved the Partnership for Growth contribution after hearing a presentation from Mike Miller, director of the Partnership for Growth, who said the organization is “getting ready to move forward on housing” and described plans to use early purchases and resale to create a revolving fund. Miller told the council the group is seeking to fill a long-standing local need for homes in a middle-price range; “We need houses in this middle range desperately,” he said.
