Rush Valley council approves pay increases for clerk and appointed officers for 2025–26

At the meeting staff read the ordinance figures as presented in the packet before council discussion: Council members were listed at $125 per month; the mayor at $325 per month; the clerk/recorder at $1,000 per month; the treasurer at $50 per month; the fire chief at $400 per month; and the assistant fire chief at $300 per month. During discussion, a motion was made and adopted to increase the clerk/recorder’s monthly compensation by $200 and to add $25 per month to each of the other listed positions.
