Ada County commissioners approve routine items, reject sheriff radio bids and set several tablings

The Ada County Board of Commissioners met June 24 and took votes on a series of routine and procurement items, rejecting one bid package, awarding another, and tabling several agenda items to the July 1 open business meeting.

The board unanimously carried a motion to reject all bids submitted for bid 25057 (Ada County Sheriff’s Office radio-site power-system battery replacement) and to rebid the project after procurement identified specification and alternative-approval issues. On a set of five residential trash-billing suspension requests, the board denied one account (account number 328080) because the property remained inhabitable and had exhausted temporary suspensions, and approved the remaining four suspensions for properties the assessor’s records listed as uninhabitable.
