Peachtree Corners launches CurioCity chatbot powered by Citibot to answer resident questions 24/7

Peachtree Corners on the night of the council meeting publicly launched CurioCity, a chatbot service powered by Citibot, intended to help residents find answers on city and Curiosity Lab websites around the clock.
"It's going to be available on both the Peachtree Corners website and the Curiosity Lab website," said Brian, the city’s communications director, during the meeting. "Anytime you're on the website and, you know, you have a question, you're trying to find something, can't find it, you will click that chatbot and chat back and forth with that bot, and we'll be able to answer, the majority of questions you will have based on the information we have available from those websites and a couple other locations."
City staff stated this implementation is one of the earliest municipal deployments in the state and that they plan to continue developing internal uses of AI to assist residents and city operations. The city asked staff to monitor the chatbot’s performance and expand the system as more content and use cases are identified.
The council heard the announcement as part of the mayor’s opening remarks; staff did not present a separate agenda item or vote on the deployment. City officials asked that staff report back with usage metrics and any changes needed to question coverage and accuracy.
