Peachtree Corners council approves budgets, five-year CIP, fee schedule and several infrastructure items

Council members adopted a resolution approving the FY26 fee schedule. City staff told the council that only the community development fees changed this year; the packet highlighted those changes and included a side-by-side of current and proposed fees. The packet also included county-administered fees that appear on Gwinnett County property tax bills for stormwater, streetlight and sanitation services.
On land and infrastructure actions, the council accepted, pending final city-attorney signoff, a dedication of right-of-way and public infrastructure improvements shown on an attached plat for a Lennar townhome project west of Engineering Drive and Peachtree Parkway. City staff said the dedication fulfills a rezoning condition and will add a segment of the city’s multi-use trail system that will eventually connect to Peachtree Corner Circle.
The council also authorized the city manager to execute change orders to the intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with Gwinnett County under the 2017 SPLAS program so the city may manage projects directly using surplus funds. City staff reported that Gwinnett County identified approximately $2,000,000 in surplus from the 2017 SPLAS program and proposed reallocating those funds to cities; the Peachtree Corners portion would be used to fill sidewalk gaps along Peachtree Boulevard and Jimmy Carter Boulevard.
