At its June 23 meeting the Upland City Council recorded these formal actions and votes.
- Consent calendar (items A–J, L–M, O–Q): Approved unanimously. (Motion moved by Mayor Pro Tem Zuniga; second by Council Member Garcia.)
- Item K (sale of small triangular parcel near Grove and Foothill): Council pulled the item from the consent calendar for discussion and then voted unanimously to set a public hearing on July 28 to consider the purchase and sale agreement and required state law findings. Staff to present the purchase agreement at that hearing.
- Item N (Upland Today magazine format and printing changes): Council approved changes to the magazine, including higher‑quality paper and a new look; cost on the record was described as approximately $27,000 per issue (increase from roughly $26,000) and the publication will be available digitally through the city website.
