Grayson County commissioners on June 24 approved a third-quarter fiscal year 2025 compensatory-time payout.
County staff reported that the payout totals $137,617.95 and covers 4,901 hours โ figures the staff said represent an increase of roughly 8 percent in hours and 9 percent in dollars compared with the same quarter last year. Staff also confirmed, after consulting with Suzette in county finance, that funds are available to carry the payout.
Commissioner Arthur moved the approval, Commissioner Wright seconded, and the court voted unanimously to carry the payout. The county's human-resources and payroll offices will process the payments in accordance with county policy.
