Hays County Commissioners ratify large Mason subdivision, multiple plats and routine county consents

At its June 24 session, the Hays County Commissioners Court approved a series of land-development and administrative items including ratification of the Mason subdivision preliminary plan and the Mason Phase 1 final plat, multiple subdivision bond releases and maintenance bonds, and several budget and grant actions.
The court ratified PLNDash2649DashPRE (Mason preliminary plan) for a proposed 918-lot subdivision along West Center Point Road in San Marcos; staff noted the development will dedicate a 140-foot right-of-way for a connector from Posey Road to Center Point Road, provide up to five miles of trails and include an Emergency Services District site. The court also ratified PLNDash2693DashNP (Mason phase 1 final plat) covering 185 lots in the first phase. Mark Pacheco, director of development services, said the Mason development’s water and wastewater will be provided by the City of San Marcos.
