Monique said the district had been subsidizing counties by $35,000 per year toward database maintenance but that the subsidy has been cut to $15,003.85 for the current fiscal year and will be eliminated in the following year.
“Really? Yes,” Monique said when describing the subsidy reduction. She added that the county had prepared by creating an address fee to cover the program if needed.
Commissioner Crow moved to approve the agreement; Miss Phillips seconded. The renewal carried by voice vote.
The court did not specify the exact name of the database vendor during the discussion beyond references to staff roles handling the work.
