The Bonner County Board of Commissioners voted on several procedural and financial items during its regular business meeting, removing a planning appeal from the agenda, adopting the amended agenda, approving a consent agenda that included a equipment purchase for solid waste, and authorizing payment of fiscal year 2025 claims.
At the start of the meeting a commissioner moved to amend the order of the agenda to remove “planning item number 1, administrative appeal VRP 20 20 one‑fifty” at the request of the planning department. The motion was seconded and approved on a roll call vote where commissioners recorded “yes” votes. The board then moved to adopt the order of the agenda as amended; that motion also passed on roll call.
On the consent agenda the board approved a purchase from solid waste: a flatbed cab, guard, and lift gate for a 2018 Ford F‑350 refrigerator truck for $15,873.90. The motion to approve the full consent agenda was made, seconded and passed by roll call.
Clerk Rosedale presented fiscal year 2025 claims batch number 37, described as “super light” and totaling $129,245.04; the largest single item noted was about $70,000 for self‑insured medical. The board moved to approve payment of the claims in batch 37; that motion was seconded and approved on a roll call vote.
No public comment or deliberation was recorded on the motions while they were on the floor.
