On video and outreach funding, commissioners agreed on the record that funded contractors must assign ownership of finished videos and provide short-form assets ("shorts") the commission can repurpose for tourism and partner websites. Several commissioners asked staff to draft a formal video policy defining deliverables, ownership and distribution expectations for future rounds.
Commissioners also asked for clarity on travel and meeting participation expectations for commissioners, outreach staffing at external events, and a review of commissioner appointment/election practices and internal bylaws. Staff agreed to circulate links to open-meeting and ethics trainings and to bring a draft schedule of proposed agenda items for the next meeting.
