Commission staff told the Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission on June 18 that there are no cases scheduled for either of the two July meetings, and the meetings are likely to be canceled.
David, a staff member, informed commissioners: "Currently, we do not have any cases, tracking to either of the July meetings. So more than likely, we'll be canceling the both of the July meetings." That statement appeared during the announcements portion of the meeting.
Chair Heumann confirmed the possibility, and the commission had no objection on the record. There was no formal vote to cancel the July meetings during the June 18 session; staff indicated the cancellations are likely because no cases are pending for those dates.
With no action items on the agenda and limited business to consider, the commission moved to adjourn after routine consent items.
