Student discipline and personnel resolutions: After an executive (closed) session, the board voted to uphold a hearing officer's recommendation and assign student number 349639930 from Simmons Middle School to an alternative placement at Core Academy in lieu of expulsion for the 2025-26 school year, including summer 2025 and 2026; the resolution states that failure to attend the alternative setting will lead to immediate expulsion for the remainder of the term. The board also approved a resolution for the honorable dismissal of educational support personnel.
