The Los Angeles City Council on June 18 took a series of grouped votes to approve multiple agenda items and to refer and continue several others. The following outcomes were announced on the record:
- Items 4–12, 14–26 and 28: The clerk announced the vote for the grouped items as recorded (13 in favor). These items were presented as ready for council action and were adopted in the grouped roll call.
- Items 1, 2, 29–32: Later in the meeting the clerk opened the roll and the council adopted these items with a recorded tally of 15 in favor.
- Special item (special motion/findings): The council adopted the Rule 23 findings (clerk recorded 14 in favor) and subsequently recorded the related funding authorization vote at 13 in favor and 2 opposed (see separate coverage).
- Item 33: Referred to the Public Works Committee without objection (see separate coverage).
- Item 34: The council prepared for a closed-session consideration of item 34 (litigation/settlement matter) and staff read that the recommendation reflected the committee report; the council then recessed for closed session to consider the matter.
