Klamath County on June 17 approved a negotiated software-as-a-service agreement with Tyler Technologies. Finance staff said the board previously accepted the vendor proposal on April 1 and that negotiations produced the attached five-year agreement with options for five additional one-year renewals.
Finance staff presented the fiscal structure on the record: a one-time service fee of $612,908 and an annual software cost of $219,268 over the initial five-year term. The one-time expense will be paid from the internal services equipment reserve fund and ongoing annual costs will be budgeted in the internal services finance budget.
Commissioners voted to approve and authorize the chair to sign the agreement. Staff said the county will implement the software and budget the ongoing costs in subsequent fiscal years.
Ending: Implementation, timing and department roll-out were not detailed at the meeting; finance staff will handle contracting and budgeting tasks.
