King said the $130,000 would be used to continue operating the day and overnight shelter over the summer until the Navigation Campus opens later this year. She said the money came from leftover public-safety funds after a NOFO process and that staff identified the funds rather than letting them roll forward.
Council members had no substantive objections and offered expressions of appreciation for Advance’s work. No formal vote or contract approval was recorded in the transcript; staff characterized this presentation as the proposed agreement and invited questions.
