The Bonner County Board of Commissioners accepted a Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program (FAA AIP) grant offer for Priest River Airport to fund phase two of an airport layout plan (ALP) update.
Airport staff explained the $113,684 grant will fund the second phase of the ALP update, including the plan narrative, project grant administration, facility requirements and alternatives. The ALP update is intended to identify nonstandard conditions and recommend solutions to create a safer airport. The grant requires a county match of $2,842. The board approved acceptance of the grant and authorized the chair to sign administratively.
