The council adopted an amendment to the current fiscal-year appropriations for the year beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025, and then approved the FY2025–2026 budget ordinance on second reading. "This is normal business item," Councilmember Reynolds said while moving the amendment to appropriations. Both budget measures passed unanimously on recorded voice votes (motion carries unanimous 6–0).
