The board approved a request to use the northeast corner of the municipal parking lot to stage a crane for removal of a tree at a private property at 28 Livingston Street.
Staff said the contractor will bring a truck with a crane, occupy three spaces on each side of the corner and be on site for about three to five hours. The applicant did not provide a specific date at the time of the meeting; trustees required that the operation not occur on a Saturday or Sunday and that the village receive advance notice so the spaces can be blocked and public safety measures put in place.
Trustees approved the request subject to those scheduling and notification conditions.
