Oak Park Police Chief Johnson briefed the Village Board on June 3 about pedestrian field-stop data for the first quarter of 2025.
“ We had 94 field stops,” Chief Johnson said, and she told the board that trustees had additional information available in a packet for each stop and that staff could answer questions.
Trustees did not request additional immediate action. The manager’s office said the chief would be available to answer follow-up questions and that staff would provide further detail if trustees sought more analysis of the stops, trends or community impacts.
The presentation was informational; no policy change or vote followed the report.
