Other commissioners urged keeping Memorial Drive and Candler Road on the table but not letting additional options slow progress on corridors already farther along. A committee member emphasized the need to show how proposed service levels would be funded and how small businesses along impacted corridors would fare during implementation.
The committee’s 30‑day deferral is intended to allow staff to coordinate the MARTA update and a companion resolution so the two items can be considered together at the next meeting.
