The actions were handled as agenda placements and approved without recorded roll‑call votes. The largest item was a proposed application to the Commonwealth Financing Authority for a multimodal transportation fund grant of $1,872,675 to fund improvements to Progress Drive. Commissioners also approved placing on the agenda a Pennsylvania Strategic Investments and Enhanced Sites grant application to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and designated the chairman and chief clerk as signatories on related documents.
The board allocated community grants to several local organizations: $2,500 to the Waynesburg Lions Club for community event support; $1,500 to the Isaac Walton League for trout stocking; $4,000 to the Carmichaels Area Historical Society for Old Mill House repairs; and $4,000 to the Greene County Historical Society for museum upgrades and expanded services. Under veterans affairs, commissioners approved agenda placements to allocate $100 for a headstone for one U.S. Army veteran and $75 for burial services for one Korean War veteran.
Human services and shelter items approved for placement included a fiscal year 2025–26 lease agreement with Connect Inc. to lease one apartment in a transitional house for emergency sheltering at $740 per month, and approvals to place on the agenda revised income and expenditures reports: the FY 2023–24 Early Intervention report (revision 1) and the FY 2023–24 Human Services Block Grant income and expenditures report (revision 2).
The board also moved and approved the appointment of Alan Fry to the Greene County Tourism Board to replace Heidi Jamieson; the term was listed as ending Dec. 31, 2025.
