Juvenile Crime Prevention Council seeks $12,574 county match; recommends new and reappointed members

Caleb described the JCPC's focus on services and strategies aimed at reducing or preventing delinquent behavior among youth in the county, working with families as well as youth. The presentation listed program strategies already incorporated into the council's plan packet.
The JCPC also recommended several appointments and reappointments to its membership for two-year terms. New recommended members included Christialla Marsh (veil health), Kobe Queen (Family Ministry Association), Ashley Cole (juvenile court counselor) and Miranda Rupp (register of deeds). Recommended reappointments included: Anne Marie Earhart (school system), Lloyd Terry (chief of police), Lee Cornett (victim services supervisor), Brent Wilkins (chief court counselor), Stacy Presnell (director of social services), the presenting representative (retired substance-abuse professional), Keisha Maldonado (child and family wellness program manager), and April Ham (county finance director).
Commissioners did not take a vote on the JCPC recommendations at this meeting; the slate and funding request were presented for consideration and follow-up.
