The Rochester City Council adopted a resolution approving the final plat submitted by Noble Development LLC for Highland Hills Townhome Second. The plat divides approximately 3.63 acres on the south side of Queens Drive NW into 20 residential townhome lots and one common-area lot for utilities and common drive access.
City planning staff said the site is consistent with the Highland Hills general development plan and the low-density residential land-use designation. The development review committee recommended approval subject to one condition. No applicant representative was present at the public hearing and no public comment was offered.
Council member Dohring moved the resolution and Council member Keane seconded; the council approved the final plat by voice vote. Staff noted the plat infills a previously platted area (Outlot F) and the action will assist the city in adding single-family-attached housing stock.
As with other plat approvals, subsequent construction, building and utility permits are required before work may begin on individual units.
