Deputy Chief Kim Garrett asked the board to approve a contract with Testing for Public Safety (TPS) to administer a promotional exam for the incident safety officer position. Garrett said TPS administers promotional testing for the department two to four times per year. The board approved the TPS contract by voice vote.
