Several quiet public hearings concluded with no speakers and the council adopted the recommended actions; a few agenda items were laid over for final adoption at the July 16 meeting or later.
Key council actions
- Consent agenda (items 4–39): Approved as presented. The council took a single motion to adopt the balance of the consent agenda.
- Resolution honoring Chris Taylor of Ecolab (Item 40): Adopted. Council members recognized Taylor's 21 years of service; Lisa Maloney Vins accepted the resolution on Taylor’s behalf.
- Ordinance 205308 (Item 41): First reading amending Legislative Code Chapter 375 to allow pedicabs to pull trailers, remove hour restrictions and align licensing; council report given and item laid over to the July 16 public hearing for second reading.
- Ordinance 25-34 (Item 42): Public hearing held; no public testimony. Public hearing closed and ordinance laid over to July 16 for final adoption.

- Legislative hearing consent agenda (Items 54–70): No public testimony; items were adopted with the legislative hearing officer's recommendations.
Most votes on the consent and public-hearing items passed unanimously or by clear majorities; where a first or second reading was required, the council laid items over to the July 16 meeting for final action. The council also noted several upcoming community events and local programs during "Good News" at the end of the meeting.
