The commission received procedural instructions from staff on how nominations and votes would be conducted. Members nominated and then voted; the newly selected chair won the vote by a 4-0 tally. The commission then selected a vice chair by the same procedure and that vote also passed 4-0. Commissioners congratulated the newly elected officers and the chair and vice chair took their seats for the remainder of the meeting.
The motions to elect officers were procedural and carried unanimously. No public comment was taken on the nominations.
